Garfield County Public Library District is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Branch Manager to help lead our New Castle branch. This onsite role is ideal for experienced public library professionals eager to foster inclusivity and trust, and who are ready to advance their career.

As Assistant Branch Manager in New Castle, you'll help lead that mission by overseeing daily operations, including circulation, scheduling, and staff training. You'll supervise the Library Page staff and foster a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere where both patrons and team members feel valued. This is a full-time, exempt 40-hour-per-week position, primarily located in New Castle, CO.
Non-MLIS Degree Pay Range: $56,844 - $72,549/year; MLIS Degree Pay Range: $61,215 - $78,128/year.
Actual placement is dependent on experience and education. Candidates are typically hired closer to the beginning of the pay range.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of four (4) years of education and experience, and;
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible library experience
Additionally, the following is preferred:
- Master of Library Science degree (MLS), Master of Library Information Science degree (MLIS)

The Community
